Welcome to KRTA
The Kendall County Retired Teachers Association (KRTA) was organized in 1977 by a group of retired teachers in Kendall County, IL. It was to be not only a social organization, but also a vehicle for disseminating information of significance to retired educators. It is now one of the 93 units that make up the Illinois Retired Teachers Association (IRTA).
Current members mainly come from Oswego, Yorkville, Plano, Sandwich, and Newark, but all retired educators, regardless of where they taught, are welcome to join. Please use the navigation links at the top of the page to explore our social events and newsletters. |
KRTA works with IRTA to monitor and protect pension and health care benefits provided through the Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois (TRS) and to support legislation that will benefit retired educators.
